Golden Harvest Motor Inn Moree

To be fair, this is our second stay at the Golden Harvest, and we will probably visit again. The location is prefect, there is plenty of parking, the rooms are clean and tidy. The facilities are excellent, but we thought we had ordered a king size bed, but were given a "large double" which wasn't quite a queen size, which surprised me as i didn't think there was a size in between the two. I didn't rate the staff more highly, because we never actually had a face to face with them. They phoned us up whilst enroute, we made payment, and they arranged for the key to be delivered. There were no complaints so we had no need to discuss issues with them. We used the chinese restaurant next door, which was also excellent.

The location is great. There are two thai restaurants in very close walking distance and a KFC across the street. Also in the morning one of the businesses across the street had coffee, slices etc available for purchase. Our car was parked undercover near the outdoor barbecue area. The pool looked very inviting on a hot day. Our room 10 had a double and a single bed. There were tea and coffee making facilities, a toaster, jug, microwave, small fridge, tv, table and chairs and a comfy lounge chair. The bed was comfortable, the bathroom quite large, a good shower with very hot water. I can highly recommend ordering a breakfast. We had a large breakfast which was very tasty and more than enough for the two of us. I can't remember the name of it but was first on the menu and very well priced.

Great place for an overnight stay on our way to QLD. Very friendly staff, comfortable bed, modern linen on beds ( no tacky old bedspeads here), nice pool. Very good.

You get everything you would expect at this price point, comfortable bed, clean towels, crockery, cutlery, a sink, TV, small fridge and microwave, and even a bedside clock. Everything was fully functional.

The rooms were cosy, modern and immaculately clean. Good range of amenities and peaceful private location.
